Major Businesses

Brokerage

Brokerage revenue comes from stocks, futures, and options trading for individuals, institutions, and foreign clients. Korea Investment & Securities recently launched a new app to enable more intuitive and convenient trading for individual clients. We are striving to boost profitability and competitiveness through efforts such as launching a to-the-decimal point trading platform for global stock market, “Ministock,” and by expanding contactless services to diversify our sales both online and offline.

Asset Management

Asset Management (AM) revenue comes from commissions on beneficiary certificates, wraps, and trust sales. Since the launch of our short-term financial business in 2017, our deposit balance has seen a constant yet exponential inflow of funds into the issued notes. We aim to bolster the AM business by increasing our assets under management with the goal of completing a balanced IB-AM growth model.

Investment Banking

Investment Banking (IB) provides comprehensive financial services to our institutional clients, including initial public offerings, capital raising through public offerings, corporate bond underwritings, structured financing, leveraged loan underwritings, and project financing. To bolster the competitiveness across the division, Korea Investment & Securities is building an integrated IT system which encompasses domestic and global deals.

Trading

Trading revenue comes from the buying and selling of stocks, bonds, and derivatives. Additionally, we continuously strengthen our risk management for market uncertainties arising from interest rate fluctuations and inflation.
